Why these tools?
Designers waste time hopping between ad-heavy sites and half-broken converters. These tools are intentionally small, accurate, and private. They implement the WCAG luminance and contrast formulas exactly, round correctly, and keep every color on your machine.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste is sent to a server.
Are the contrast results accurate?
Yes. The contrast checker implements the WCAG 2.x relative luminance and contrast ratio formulas and rounds threshold decisions correctly, so a value of 4.49:1 correctly fails a 4.5:1 requirement.
Can I share my colors with someone?
Yes. Each tool stores its current state in the URL, so you can copy the link and the recipient sees the same colors.
